Chief Hawkes’ Inaugural Golf Scramble to Combat Abuse

Jacksonville, Texas Police Chief Andrew Hawkes is organizing the Inaugural “Chief Hawkes Scramble Against Abuse” on Monday, September 17, 2018. This tournament will benefit nonprofit organizations working to end domestic violence and child abuse here in our community. These groups include the Crisis Center of Anderson & Cherokee Counties, the Children’s Advocacy Center program, and HOPE of Jacksonville.

Join Jacksonville Police Chief Andrew Hawkes for the inaugural Scramble Against Abuse on September 17 at Cherokee Ranch Golf Club. Proceeds from the tournament will benefit the Crisis Center of Anderson & Cherokee Counties, the Children’s Advocacy Center program, and HOPE of Jacksonville – nonprofit organizations working to end domestic violence and child abuse here in our community.

Shotgun start for all players will be at 11 am. Top three teams will receive prize money based on net scores. Take a shot to win a new car from Bacon Chevrolet, our hole in one sponsor. Two golfers’ names will be drawn at random prior to tee off with the one putting “closest to the hole” winning a $250 prize from Austin Bank.
